Back in August, we revealed that Microsoft was launching a digital TV tuner in Europe, so that Xbox One owners could use their console to access and control live TV. Well, this is now available to buy, costing £24.99 in the UK or €29.99 in France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
With the USB device, you can view free-to-air HD TV directly through your Xbox One, without having to change your TV inputs. It basically serves as an alternative to accessing TV from cable or a satellite set-top box connected through HDMI.
You can peruse TV listings using your Xbox One controller and with Kinect voice, with the EPG available in full-screen or as a mini guide. With OneGuide, you will also be able to save your favorite channels for easier access, while you can watch TV and play games simultaneously in Snap mode.
