The humble Happy Meal box will see perhaps its largest ever innovation go live this week – it can now be folded in seconds into a pair of VR ‘Happy Goggles.’
Don’t all rush at once, though, because they’re only available in a pretty limited pilot across seven McDonald’s stores in Sweden between 11AM and 3PM this Saturday.
The niftily-McDonald’s-branded headwear works with a new skiing game, which launches on March 5 too, and the goggles will be rolled out to a wider audience if the VR experience is a hit in Scandinavia.
Håll tummarna (fingers crossed)!
