Mailbox shuttering Orchestra to-do list app on September 6th to focus on email client

The Mailbox team has announced plans to shutter its Orchestra to-do list app on September 6th in order to focus on its popular email client.

The team froze work on Orchestra last September to create Mailbox. The email app went on to become a runaway success that led to an acquisition by Dropbox in March.

On September 6th, Orchestra will be removed from the App Store. Those who have already downloaded the app will still be able to use it, but cloud services, the Web app and customer support will no longer be available.
