Lingua.ly‘s language learning mobile app is now available to download for the iPhone, following its release on Android back in April this year and its launch on the Web just a few weeks back.
The company said that in the month following its Android launch, the app attracted more than 100,000 downloads and that it expects at least this amount (or more)of new downloads now that it is available for iOS devices. It added that it plans to introduce support for more languages this fall, but didn’t specify exactly which.
Like on the other platforms, the iOS app provides users with a free dictionary and learning platform designed to help improve vocabulary in 18 languages. On top of this standard offering, the new iOS app also includes a number of gamification features, like collected words being counted and added to a leaderboard, and a practice session tracker to reward power users.
