On stage from the WWDC, we’ve just gotten pricing confirmation on the new iPhone 4.
According to Steve Jobs, pre-orders will start a week from tomorrow, with prices set as follows:
3GS – $99
iPhone 4 – $199/16 gig $299/32 gig with both in either black or white.
AT&T will also be offering early upgrades for uses whose current iPhone contract will expire any time in 2010. Again, according to Jobs:
“I’m thrilled to announce AT&T is going to make an incredibly generous upgrade offer. If your contract expires any time in 2010, you are immediately eligible for a new iPhone 4 at the same 199 or 299 prices if you top up your contract 2 years.”
The US, France, Germany, UK and Japan will be first, then 24 more countries will start shipping in August. 88 countries total makes it the fastest rollout ever, according to Jobs.
