The iPad 2 has been spotted in public being used at a press conference today. The press conference was to mark the release of News Corp’s Daily App.
Apple is usually very stealthy about products it has not released yet. However Reuters eyewitness confirmed that it was a working model of the next iPad with a front-facing camera. There was no mention of whether the device did or did not have a home button, as it was speculated earlier this year the iPad 2 may be buttonless.
The front facing camera and video calling is a feature that is expected of the new device. Other features the iPad 2 is predicted to incorporate is; lighter body, USB ports, new display technology and new 3-axis gyroscopes.
The iPad 2 is rumored to be announced next month.
