It’s not very often that I get to write a story on TNW these days, but I still see an overwhelming amount of pitches come through my inbox every single day. So when TNW’s Jorg Ruis asked me about setting up a free session on TNW Academy, the first thing that I thought of was how we could help people get better pitches, and offer them a bit of insider advice about working with the media. It’s with those goals in mind that we’re pleased to offer “Let’s Fix Your Pitch” for free to folks who are attending the upcoming TNW Conference in Amsterdam.
We know our audience. We know that you’re hard working folks with big dreams and huge talent. But often times that talent can go unnoticed by something as simple as a poorly-prepared email or a bad pitch. In “Let’s Fix Your Pitch” we’ll take one hour to go over simple, actionable points that I can personally assure you will get you more media attention…and for the right reasons. We’ll cover basic pitch crafting, media relations, release timing, the always-dreaded embargo and we’ll even talk about what to do when absolutely everything goes wrong.
Oh, and if you really want to wow the crowd at the TNW Startup Rally, don’t miss this.
TNW Academy classes typically run in the $100 range. But we wanted to sweeten the pot a bit for those folks who are perhaps on the fence about attending TNW Conference in Amsterdam. Whether you’re running your own company, applying for a new job (bet you didn’t think that was a pitch, did you?) or even trying to secure that dream date (yep, that’s a pitch too!) the information in this class will help you to put your best foot forward.
Join us in Amsterdam, won’t you? It is, after all, the heart of what this TNW thing is all about and we’re very proud of what we can offer. But tickets are going fast, so get in while discounts are still available. Get prepped with our pitch coaching class, then head to the most incredible city in Europe and prepare for your life to be changed.
