    The Next Web staff writers are smart cookies, so not only did we totally understand the movie Inception, we could have even made it better if we put our minds to it.

    That said, there may be a handful of people on this planet that didn’t quite grasp the plot of the 2010 flick. OK, a lot of people. OK, pretty much everyone other than us.

    Alright, alright, it was freaking confusing to us as well, damnit!

    Anyways, for the poor souls who were a bit thrown off by the movie’s complex plot, Web user interface and experience designer Matt Dempsey (who briefly interned at Facebook as a product designer) has created and launched Inception Explained, an interactive animated infographic meant to clear up the confusion digitally.

    Built in HTML5 and using the amazing Scrollorama jQuery plugin, the Inception Explained site, well, explains Inception.

    It’s so beautiful that you should pay a visit to the site, whether you totally grasped the plot of the movie – or only pretended to.
