It’s never the end of diversification for Japanese messaging service Line, which is using every ounce of its creativity to stand out from the bunch of chat apps out in the market now — including WhatsApp, WeChat, Kik and Cubie just to name a few.
Line unveiled a new official account today for its Japanese users (@linedailyenglish) that delivers voice and text messages in English between Monday to Saturday, so you can learn to read, write and pronounce conversational phrases. The only thing you have to do is add the official account into your friends list.
Line’s latest feature should do well in other countries that do not adopt English as their first language, but have a population eager to pick it up, and it won’t be any surprise if this is rolled out in these regions soon.
