Back in January when Hootsuite announced that it had bought uberVU for an undisclosed sum it wasn’t clear what plans it had for the social analytics company.
Today, that plan has become evident with the launch of a new data visualisation tools called uberVU Boards within the platform. The company says the new tool allows users to quickly identify key business analytics and data points for sharing.
“Unlike traditional data visualisation technologies, Boards has been designed so that any user can easily identify a metric, pin it to a dashboard and generate a report with just one click,” Hootsuite said.
So, for example, you could pin metrics that you use each day (like mention streams or spike signals) in combination with widgets gauging brand sentiment to create a personalized, streamlined social media hub.
