Social media management company HootSuite has acquired uberVU, a social analytics company that launched back in 2010.

Though full financial terms of the acquisition haven’t been divulged, the deal will see uberVU’s technology combined into HootSuite’s offering, and also gains it access to uberVU’s team of engineers.

Launched in 2009, HootSuite lets users manage multiple social networks through a single dashboard, and the Vancouver-based company has grown into a global social media brand used by individuals and companies alike. However, it’s the enterprise facet that HootSuite is chasing for dollars, and it’s this market where analytics will prove most fruitful.
