Microsoft has teamed up with Indian gadget maker iBall to launch the Splendo, a dongle-sized PC that runs Windows 8.1.
The pocket-sized Splendo can connect to TVs and monitors via HDMI. It’s powered by an Intel Atom quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and includes 32GB of onboard storage.
It also features a MicroSDXC card slot and ports to plug in USB and Micro USB peripherals, as well as support for wireless devices over Bluetooth 4.0.
The device will go on sale in India in July for about $140 (₹ 8,999).
We’ve contacted iBall to find out if the Splendo will receive an upgrade to Windows 10 when the OS launches and will update this post when we hear back.
