If there’s one thing a GoPro drone should get right, it’s video. A first look at footage from a prototype GoPro drone shows us the company is, indeed, bringing something solid to the skies.
As you can see in the video above, GoPro’s incoming drone shoots some incredibly steady footage, which the company says has not been altered in post-production.
The video is from a prototype drone and stabilization system, but we’re not seeing any of the hardware for ourselves. We’ll assume it’s simply something similar to the Phantom 3 from DJI, but there’s no telling what’s going on right now.
Still, that’s some rad footage. It might be worth registering with the Department of Transportation to shoot video like that.
