Social traffic app Waze, which was snapped up by Google for $1.1 billion in 2013, could come preinstalled on your next Android phone.
Google’s announced that the app is now officially a Google Mobile Service, which opens up the option for manufacturers and carriers to preinstall it on their devices.
No one wants their phone stuffed with bloatware but Waze is a handy service and one that’s well worth having straight out of the box, despite what some US sheriffs might tell you.
