Google rolled out a new look today to its main search home Google.com, designed to serve people on full-sized computers. Following up that new design, Google has released a fresh update to its mobile interface as well.
The new design mimics the desktop version to include the improved left menu. Google wants to keep its interface as similar as possible across platforms to ensure that consumers do not become confused, or annoyed by different versions providing different functionality.
