Google today announced the launch of Google My Maps, the company’s new tool for creating custom Google Maps from directly within Google Drive.
Announced today, the tool makes it easy to create new maps in just a few clicks. All you need to do is select ‘new,’ then ‘more,’ then ‘Google My Maps.’
As well as adding the option to access Maps directly in Drive, you can also now add more layers and points of interest. There’s also support for importing bigger spreadsheets and more info. Google added that all previously created maps will be accessible via Drive over the next week, making them a whole lot easier to manage and organize into different categories.
