Google launches Android app for its money-saving Offers in the US

Google has been moving quickly to expand its its Offers service, which allows local merchants in selected US cities to advertise money-saving deals to potential customers. Today it’s rolled out an Android app to enhance the service.

In its launch announcement, Google explains that the app allows you to discover, buy and redeem deals. It will notify you about nearby offers that match your interests. Offers can be purchased from within the app  in just a few clicks and users can even redeem paperlessly with merchants who support the feature.

Google Offers launched in May this year and is now available in 42 US cities, and unsurprisingly the Android app is only available on the Market in the USA.
