Google Chrome OS Source Code Now Available! (Screenshot)

In just a few minutes Google will host an event giving insight into its much hyped Google Chrome OS, an overview of the technology and launch plans for its launch next year (You can watch the live webcast here.)

It has been speculated that the internet giant would release its Chrome OS Code as open-source code and this in fact seems to be the case. The Google Operating System blog has uncovered what appears to be the Google Chrome OS source code available for download.

There’s not much to go on in regard to visuals, but this is reportedly Chrome OS’s login:
