The rumors started flying yesterday. Google Chrome would come bundled with Adobe’s Flash Player, avoiding the need to download the Flash Player plugin. Today, TechCrunch is reporting that the rumors were indeed true.
But the integration does not stop with the bundled player. Updates to the player, in fact, will happen through Google Chrome’s update system, instead of through Adobe.
It would seem that Adobe is gathering all of the muscle that it can to stare defiantly at Apple and the lack of Flash integration on both the iPhone and upcoming iPad.
