Get a taste of Mass Effect: Andromeda in 4K on the PS4 Pro

Following the announcement of the 4K-capable PS4 Pro, Canadian game developer Bioware showed off a brand new hi-res gameplay trailer of its highly anticipated sci-fi title, Mass Effect: Andromeda.

The entire clip was captured on the new console and shows its ability to render graphics at a significantly higher resolution than its predecessor, as well as its high dynamic range capability for increased contrast and more pronounced lighting effects. If you’ve been craving some console-grade eye candy, you’re in for a treat.

Engadget noted that not all new games for the PS4 Pro will support true 4K rendering, but Mass Effect: Andromeda is one of the few titles that will be playable at this resolution when it launches early next year.

The game will also come to PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
