Facebook has updated its Facebook iOS app about 14 hours after its major update of last night that brought Facebook Places to the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad (through a non-native app).

The 3.2.1 update comes with two notes, the first being simply “bug fixes” but the second is interesting in a user feedback kind of way. Right under “bug fixes” Facebook spells out as clearly as possible that Places is only available in the US – presumably after a lot of international users have asked Facebook about Places, saying:

“NOTE: Places is only available for US users at the moment and will be rolled out gradually. We’re working on launching other regions soon.”
