As expected, Facebook today announced its mobile ad network, Audience Network, with three formats: banner, interstitial and native. The service brings Facebook’s existing targeting and measurement features to third-party app ad inventory.
Marketers already running News Feed ads can push them out to third-party apps through Audience Network with a single click. The service will draw on creative from existing Facebook ads. Facebook said the network is expanding to new advertisers “in the coming months.”
Test partners of Audience Network included Target, Vinted and Audible.
