FlexTeam from App4Mac is an incredibly useful Mac OS X app to manage the working schedule of people in a group or organization.
FlexTeam is a powerful, intuitive and visually appealing app. At first glance, the user interface looks empty and a bit intimidating, making you think there is a lot to setup before getting the app to work. In practice it really isn’t.
Just create a new schedule and a fully populated template will be at your disposal. From CEO to technicians, you will find all categories of employees listed in there.
To rename a category or a job title, double click on the respective item in the left pane and alter them. Adding and editing a work schedule and updating contact information will have to be done the same way too.
Once you have the organizational setup covered, you can assign tasks to those in the schedule by just dragging and dropping them from the task library. Schedules can be viewed in extensive daily, weekly and monthly calender views.
Managing a remote team or looking to allow employees anywhere access to their schedule? FlexTeam is very cloud friendly too. The work schedule can be shared over the Internet by taking advantage of their free online service, powered by the FlexTeam Server. Once the schedule is shared in the cloud, people can access it from an iPhone or iPad that has the FlexTeam mobile app installed.
And for those organizations very particular about privacy and security, the FlexTeam server is also available for installing on site behind a corporate firewall.
FlexTeam helps you save a lot of time and grind by seamlessly sharing information and efficient management of human resources from a single screen.
After a free 30 day trial period, FlexTeam will cost you $59 (approximately), however, the mobile apps are available for free.
