Sitting in the space between hosted products like Shopify and self-hosted platforms like Magento, it offers an API that provides access to a variety of components that you can pick from depending on your needs.

Moltin supports a range of payment services, including PayPal, Stripe, WorldPay and SagePay, and the API can be used to power anything from a store on a website to a POS system in a bricks-and-mortar shop. Based in Newcastle in the north of England, the startup prices access at between £20 ($32) and £120 ($192) per month depending on your requirements – the same price range as Shopify.
