play_fiDTS today launched iOS support for its Play-Fi platform for lossless audio over wireless. Play-Fi is also available on Android and Windows PCs. The platform currently works on DTS’s Phorus PS1 speaker and PR1 receiver and the Wren V5PF. Additional products and brands are on the way.

The wireless home audio space is starting to get noisy as more companies come out with their own solutions. In addition to popular offerings from Sonos, Qualcomm has its AllPlay standard, Spotify recently announced Spotify Connect, and Apple maintains its own AirPlay protocol.
