Mobile app analytics firm Distimo [previous coverage] is being gobbled up by fellow app-ranking and market intelligence firm App Annie [previous coverage], a post on the company’s official blog reveals.
Moving forward, Distimo’s best features will be merged into App Annie’s platform after which Distimo’s user data will be migrated over too. The upshot of all this is to try and build “the most complete platform for analyzing the app marketplace,” explains Distimo CEO Vincent Hoogsteder.
“We’re very excited to join a team that shares a common vision, and with the accumulated resources of both companies, we’re best equipped to serve your business better,” he continues.
