Mobile app analytics firm Distimo is opening up its API to the public today, giving everyone the ability to analyze its app market data.
Anyone using Distimo App Analytics, a browser-based dashboard for viewing the firm’s data, users can now analyze downloads, revenues, rankings and reviews for their own apps using the new, free API. This information can also be filtered by country, app store and device.
Likewise, the API can be used to store Distimo’s data in a third-party data storage or analytics solution. The information can be pulled from the API using any programming language and exported in either CSV or JSON.
