Design creates more value today than ever before in history. In his talk, Evan Sharp contemplates the evolution of a new approach to design. Nowadays, software designers are solving massive problems that they did not care about ten years ago. Back then, interface design was about creating languages to control machines. Now the value of design is increasingly about feedback loop from the database to the front end of the product. The next generation of interesting products might be about empowering everyone to be a designer. Creativity is no longer skill but a mindset. Evan Sharp thinks that what we need to do in the tech industry is to build more tools that unlock this mindset in people.
