Check-in on The Great Wall: Foursquare partners with China Daily

“Love China, Explore China” is the slogan on the China Daily’s Foursquare page that just launched today. Here’s the announcement it made just now over Twitter:

The China Daily is the largest English language newspaper in China, and is of course run by a branch of the Chinese government. On its Foursquare page (it also has a Facebook Page and Twitter account) it says:

China Daily would like to take you to almost every corner of China and help you explore the misteries of the oriental country. Follow us to receive the tips and unlock our edition badges to enter into our SWEEPSTAKES!

The accounts are actually “ChinaDailyUSA” but we’re pretty sure that is just the main English account. We’ll email Foursquare to see if it has any more info on the partnership.
