Brilliant robotics and an iPhone come together to grant a man back a set of hands

The promise of modern medical technology is everyday miracles; bringing innovations to the average person that might greatly improve their lives is the goal. And happily that promise is being met by products heading to the market right now.

CNN released an amazing clip recently that shows off a man who lost both hands in a motor accident, and now has what can only be described as sci-fi hands that are programmable through a phone. He uses a stylus to interact with the phone.

He can now hold hands with his kids again. It’s a touching story, but one shot through with real innovation. Enjoy:
