Google ran a worldwide competition over the last couple of months for people to use their SketchUp 3D modeling online software to build 3D model of their towns. Google announced the winner today: the Barranco District of Lima, Peru. Below is a one minute video of the model, and of course, the 3D models can be explored on Google Earth.
