This past weekend at the Food Network’s South Beach Wine & Food Festival, Evian, a long-time sponsor of the event, hired an illustrator to cover the weekend’s events and tweet out images in realtime.
While live tweeting events or hiring artists to cover a show is nothing new, hiring a tweeting artist is certainly quite novel. It takes the art of storytelling to a whole new level.
In addition to covering all the excitement of the weekend long event, the illustrator responded to various questions and @replies @evianwater with actual drawings! Her physical illustrations were on display at Evian’s sponsored cube within the festival.
