Apple’s latest line of iPhones went on sale today, and despite some of the negativity around the latest releases, the iPhone 5s has proven incredibly popular. Indeed, lines were markedly long even for an iPhone launch day, given that there were no pre-orders available for the 5s.

In an statement issued to AllThingsD earlier, the company said the demand had been “incredible”, with some stores selling out already. But that was always to be expected, right?

“Demand for the new iPhones has been incredible, and we are currently sold out or have limited supply of certain iPhone 5s models in some stores,”  an Apple spokesperson told AllThingsD.
