Judging from Twitter chatter and TNW staff based in the UK, Amazon is down for some European users.
The service distruption has hit at least the UK, Germany and Denmark. In addition to the ecommerce site, Amazon’s Instant Video service also seems to be suffering from an outage.

We are currently unable to load Amazon.uk, Amazon.de and Amazon.it.
According to Amazon’s Web Services status page, all AWS services re working normally in Europe.
Update 12:10pm PT: Currently Amazon.co.uk is now the only site not loading for us. But, users in Germany are still reporting that Instant Video is still down in that country.
Update 12:24PM PT: Looks like all the European Amazon sites are back online. Now let’s all get back to spending money.
