Twitter is introducing an enhanced version of the #NewTwitter client that we saw rolled out a few months ago. Twitter says that it will be rolling out to all users “in the next few weeks”, but we wanted to give you a sneak peek:
Want an even better look at the New Twitter? You can get it for yourself by heading over and downloading the new mobile version of Twitter for Android or iOS. Twitter says that, when you do, you’ll soon get the new version of the Web client too.
If you’ve downloaded the latest iPhone/Android app (and opened it on your device) you’re all set. Web access will come soon! #newlook

Twitter is focused on helping people to understand what you can do with the service, so it is introducing a set of explanations for the icons:
As you can see, the sometimes-confusing idea of a hashtag is now being labeled as Discover, but Twitter has taken the discovery idea a step further:
“When you use Discover, you’ll see results reflecting your interests—based on your current location, what you follow and what’s happening in the world. As you use Twitter more, Discover gets even better at serving up more content just for you.”
You can check out all of the changes over on Twitter’s fly.twitter.com site, where each of the sections is detailed. With forthcoming self-service advertising, and a massive growth since direct implementation with iOS 5, Twitter has clearly been hard at work to serve its users and these new features make things clear.
