How To Pre-order Your Amazon Kindle Fire Right Now

Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos took to the stage in New York this afternoon to usher in new Kindle devices including e-readers and the awesome-looking 7-inch Kindle Fire tablet.

The Kindle Fire will have a 7-inch display and sell for $199, compared with $499 for Apple’s cheapest iPad, and will be powered by Google’s Android operating system (albeit a heavily modified version).

Whilst the tablet doesn’t have an embedded camera or a microphone, it will offers Wi-Fi connectivity and comes with a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime, the company’s $79-a-year membership service that includes streaming video and free two-day shipping.

For many, this will become the first tablet device they own, serving primarily as a consumption device that will pull in all their media and purchases from the Kindle Store and other associated Amazon services.

Amazon has put the pre-order page for the Kindle Fire live in the U.S, allowing you to pre-order the tablet this very instant. All you have to do is head on over to the website you know and love and hit the familiar button. You can also pre-order the new Kindle and Kindle Touch right now.

You know you want to.
