Amazon announces its Black Friday deals, Web holds its breath

Ahead of the annual internet meltdown, Amazon has announced its best deals that will go on sale during the Black Friday shopping period.

The digital pandemonium, which will start on November 20, a full-week ahead of actual Black Friday will see Amazon trial a number of new features and ways to help you part with your cash quicker than ever before.

More than 150 “Lightning Deals” will be available only on mobile, and Amazon Prime members will get access to most of them 30 minutes before the general public.

Amazon also has been watching the Chinese equivalent of Black Friday known as Singles Day very carefully. Taking place earlier this month, it broke all records with online retailer Alibaba making $14.3 billion in sales in just 24 hours, despite the Chinese economy seeing a slump in consumer demand.
