Kids Web Services are tools to make content creation for children safer, easier and quicker

Kids digital marketing platform SuperAwesome revealed its new Kids Web Services (KWS) initiative today.

The KWS platform is designed for publishers and brands who create content specifically for children. It handles all the data privacy compliance requirements for the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the forthcoming EU legislation.

Its aim is to make the lives of developers easier when it comes to content creation for children.

Publishing for the under-13 age group has strict compliance standards that must be met. KWS allows publishers to take these into account with its built-in features, such as kid-safe authentication, verifiable parental sign-off, a parental portal and a Kid-safe loyalty club that rewards users for their participation.

KWS is already being used by Hasbro for its ‘My Little Pony’ franchise.

The company’s ad platform (AwesomeAds) is already considered the industry standard for kid-safe advertising so this expansion will presumably set a new standard in content creation for children.
