Google+ is rolling out Collections, its Pinterest competitor

Google+ has already tried to take on Facebook and Twitter, but today its setting its sights on Pinterest with a new Collections feature.

Though the new option isn’t live for everyone, Android Police noticed some users have access.

Collections basically lets you put all the posts you’re interested in into one place – including photos and videos – then can customize the name and cover photo for each set. And when you click to share a post, you’ll see an option to paste it into an existing or new collection.

Of course, you can also follow other users’ collections, or all the collections from an individual user. While there aren’t any public collections currently available, we expect they’ll to pop up soon.
