Dropbox for iOS can now upload to your account from any app

Dropbox just became a bit more useful for iOS users. The storage company today updated its iOS app to allow you to save files to your account from essentially any app.

With the latest update, iOS users will now see Dropbox listed under iOS 8’s share function. The extension lets you save to your any of your Dropbox folders, and you’ll see progress bar indicating how far along the upload is.

Of course, Android users have had this ability basically forever, but it wasn’t possible on Apple devices until iOS 8. The update should make sharing to Dropbox much more seamless.
