Samsung confirms the Galaxy Note Edge for a November 14 US launch

Samsung today announced that its Galaxy Note Edge will be available in the US beginning November 14.

The 5.6-inch screen phone is essentially a Galaxy Note 4 with an added curved display section to the right of the screen, which can be used to display information and control actions separate from the main action.

It also features a 16MP camera with optical image stabilization, the Galaxy Note’s S Pen, 3GB of RAM and a Quad HD Super AMOLED display.

We went hands-on with the Edge in early September and thought it was one of Samsung’s more innovative devices – though the curved screen may look a little gimmicky, there’s some interesting functionality potential as well.
