BBC’s iPlayer now available in the UK App Store

We’ve talked about it and we’ve been waiting for it but now it’s here. BBC’s iPlayer for the iPad is now available in the UK App Store. The iPlayer app will bring BBC programs to your iPad but only if you’re in the UK.

And now, the wait begins. For those of us in the rest of the world, we won’t have access to the free content iPlayer. A source from the BBC tells us that the application will likely be stranded in the UK until a subscription model of some sort can be sorted out.
