Meta launched Pocket in the US, and the app it came from shut down the same day
Meta has rolled out Pocket nationwide, an app that turns prompts into small interactive posts called gizmos. It came from the team behind Gizmo, which Meta hired in March and whose original app was wound down on the day Pocket launched.

Gatik has raised $200m to put more driverless box trucks on US roads
Gatik has raised $200m in a Series D led by Qatar Investment Authority and Koch Disruptive Technologies, its largest round yet. The autonomous trucking company says it has more than $600m in contracted revenue and has completed 85,000 fully driverless orders.

Meta is holding back $5.3bn unless TikTok and YouTube match its teen rules
Meta says it will pay about $18bn over ten years to settle the states' teen safety case. Roughly $5.3bn of that stays with the company unless TikTok and YouTube adopt a one-hour daily limit, night mode and age assurance, and each pays a matching sum.
