Covenant emerged from stealth on Wednesday with Anthem, a long-range strike weapon it says is built for production in the thousands, more than $250m raised across three rounds and roughly $150m in orders. Its Texas factory opened today, alongside plants in Saxony and northern Israel.

Ramp is in early talks to raise about $1bn at a $60bn valuation, Bloomberg reports, three months after its $44bn round. It has passed $1.5bn in annualised revenue. Its closest US rival, Brex, sold to Capital One for $5.15bn earlier this year, less than a tenth of that price.
