Push.co for iOS is free this weekend. Here’s why you should download it

Push.co for iOS is free this weekend. Here’s why you should download it

If you’ve not tried Push.co yet, this weekend is the ideal opportunity. The app from our TNW Labs that helps you keep up to date on the latest news and create your own push notifications is free for the next two days.

It’s a great way to keep up to date and share our latest posts. Every time we hit the ‘Publish’ button you’ll get  a notification, and you can pick which topics you’re notified about.

Since the service’s launch at the end of September, Push.co users have created more than 400 push apps. On average we’re sending out one push notification every five seconds to our users.

Here are some Push.co apps to get you started and give you an idea of the kinds of things you can do with it: The Next Web, Hacker NewsThing du Jour and New on Netflix UK. So, download the app this weekend and give it a whirl.

Update: Due to a problem with the App Store, you may have seen Push.co listed with a price for a few hours. This is now fixed and we’ve extended the free period to Wednesday November 6.
