‘Viagra for your communications’ Meshin launches Android app at SXSW

This video was bought to you by SitePen and Viadeo.

It started off as an Outlook plugin, but now Meshin is launching an Android app at SXSW that will enable you to collect all your contact data from across not only your social networks, but also the information you have in your phone including your voicemail.

Similar services like Rapportive enable you to pull in information about your contacts, but what makes Meshin different is it that enables you to see the history of the relationship you’ve had with that person across various social networks. In my ever growing network I am constantly wondering how I met certain people and what we’ve already talked about so Meshin is definitely solving a problem that needs solution.

Meshin is  a Xerox funded project incubated inside Palo Alto Research Center (PARC). I speak to CEO Chris Holmes about the company, the competition and his plans for the future.
