From online streaming to TV series producers — Netflix is making itself known as a firm to be contended with in the entertainment industry. At no point is this clearer than now, with Netflix snagging its first Golden Globe win as Robin Wright took home the Best Actress (Drama Series) award for House of Cards.

In all, Netflix received six Golden Globe nominations — four of them for the political thriller House of Cards, and another two for Arrested Development and Orange is the New Black. It only scooped the one award for Robin Wright, but that is still a significant triumph over its broadcast and cable rivals in a celebrated awards night.

House of Cards, which already won three Emmy awards earlier this year, will return for a second season on February 14.
