I think this is very generous of Mark to do. Obviously with the increased visibility that “The Social Network” is bringing to his life, it makes it interesting but nobody puts up $100 Million on a whim. I think he truly believes in what this can accomplish or else he wouldn’t be doing it. It has always been impressive to me how much money doesn’t seem to be a big influence for him. Turning down roughly $1 Billion.. twice.. for the sale of Facebook early on highlights his focus.
