Shaved Bieber becomes a meme: remove James Corden from the internet today

The Shaved Bieber add-on for Firefox was well received last week, allowing users to remove all mention of teenage pop-brat Justin Bieber from their browsing experience.

Now the UK has its own version that will remove one of TVs most divisive personalities, James Corden from the web.The fantastically named CordenBleugh is a Chrome extension that will scrub any mention of the actor whose success with the BBC’s Gavin and Stacey has seen him spread into just about every corner of the UK media – he’s even in this week’s Doctor Who.

Developer Tane Piper modified the Shaved Bieber code to create the plug-in. It works, too – removing all text and images of Corden from the Internet. Well, almost – we tried it with an image search and it picked a rather disturbing topless picture to not censor.

One commenter on the extension’s Chrome gallery page has a great idea: “Can I suggest you expand this for a whole load of celebs who have no discernible talent, i.e sextape stars Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, reality tv stars, Pixie Lot (sic) etc..” This one could run and run
