TweetDeck accounts are being scrapped on March 31, replaced by Twitter logins

TweetDeck has announced that by the end of this month, all users are required to log into the tool using their Twitter credentials. It’s scrapping TweetDeck-specific accounts on March 31.

To switch your credentials, all you have to do is look for the Switch button at the top of your screen to make the change. All your account settings and functionality will remain unchanged; TweetDeck says the migration is intended to improve security by verifying users directly from their synced Twitter accounts.

It’s clear that Twitter is ramping up security for its products, with the debut of its new group Twitter management system named TweetDeck Teams last month. The company also launched Digits, a phone number-based Twitter login system, in January.
